Now comprising six members, AEGIS remains one of the most iconic OPM bands. With five women and one man—whom the girls teasingly consider as one of them (in jest, of course)—they continue to evolve while staying true to their roots.

It’s hard to believe that a musical group could last this long in the business of making music, traveling to foreign shores, sharing rooms, food, stories, and lives. But that’s the reality. Over the years, the band has truly become a family. Beyond that, they represent the cultural diversity of the Philippines, with members hailing from different regions across the three major island groups
